Quantitative autoradiography in boron neutron capture therapy considering the particle ranges in the samples

چکیده

Purpose Boron neutron capture therapy is a cellular-scale particle exploiting boron reactions in compounds distributed tumour cells. Its therapeutic effect depends on both the accumulation of cells and fluence. Autoradiography used to visualise micro-distribution compounds. Methods Here, we present an equation for relationship between concentration pit density solid-state nuclear track detector, taking into consideration ranges samples. This validated using liver-tissue sections standard solutions. Moreover, simple co-localisation system tissue-section images that requires no special equipment. Results The reproduces experimentally observed trends density. provides theoretical explanation widely calibration curve concentration; it also method correct differences thickness quantitative autoradiography. Conclusions Using together with this could improve micro-scale estimation tissue sections.
